meet katy
Katy began practicing yoga in 2002 in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado. She took her yoga practice with her when she attended University of Oregon to study dance and was delighted by the way yoga aided her dance training and supported her overall wellbeing. Katy has BA in Community Health Education from Portland State University, as well as a degree in Dance, and has a deep interest in addressing chronic stress and disease through mind body practices including yoga, mediation, mindfulness, dance, and creative expression. Katy is a Registered Yoga Teacher, and in 2012, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Sarahjoy Marsh.
